My yearly guilty pleasure during Christmas time is.... Hallmark Christmas movie!!! Despite the groaner title of this film, it’s actually one of the better ones this year (2018). She is not too concerned about the prospect of spending the night in the store… until a quirky woman appears out of nowhere in the shoe department and tells Noelle that she is her guardian angel.

This is the tale of a guardian angel being sent at Christmastime to save not a suicidal George Bailey, but an HR manager so mildly dissatisfied with her life that the guardian angel spends half the movie convincing her she's dissatisfied enough to need help. Charming cast especially Jean Smart as the guardian angel, it's kind of like candace cameron bure told hallmark about a dream she had where she couldn't remember all the details or even what it was really about, but it definitely had shoes in it, and they were like, "cool, sounds like a complete script to me" and that's as far as they ever got with the plot, also i hope jean smart made major money for this, because they did her no favors with those outfits/hats, luke macfarlane as a firefighter i’m so used to give and now i get to receive.
