He was a very proud guy who had an air of confidence about him even at a younger age. I grew up with Arnie in Dorchester and was used to seeing him daily at the norfolk Parmacy where I worked as a soda jerk. Arnie ventured into real estate in the 1980s, accumulating properties primarily on the Boston waterfront and on Cape Cod, where he spent summers with his family in Mashpee.
