Indeed, AT&T Park in San Francisco is a true gem among parks.

There's a little bit of the Boston skyline outside of Fenway Park that helps set the scene. That “thanks, Dodgers, we’ll play for the Wild Card” attitude might be a bigger draw than the thin-air assisted odds of catching a home run ball. And since getting their half-billion-dollar, high-tech palace, the Marlins haven’t managed a winning season. You don’t lure a team with a storied history away from its home city with a cookie cutter stadium on a tract of industrial land.

The baseball gods conspired to give us the perfect World Series walk-off on Saturday night. True, the food offerings are a lot stronger than you’d think; in fact, you can get a Cuban sandwich that rivals the ones in Miami. And no matter where you sit, you're treated to a nice view of Cleveland's skyline and Quicken Loans Arena, home of LeBron and the Cavs.

Minnesota TwinsMinneapolis is a pretty nifty city, and while the stadium offers a great look at downtown, you have to sit at a weird angle to get it.

Colorado RockiesThe open plan of the stadium creates a serene environment for fans, but could've used a little more Rocky Mountains for a scenic view.

While many of today's stadiums are built in the midst of bustling cities, Dodger Stadium's view towards the outfield makes it look as if there's nothing else around.

Views: 5—Fenway's charm comes with a price. The view isn't so bad, but like similar stadiums, only offers skyline views from one side of the field.

Citizens Bank is also 2017’s major league leader in attendance, filling over 100% of seats, which maybe explains why people are always just a liiiiiittle on edge. It must have something going for it if people are flocking downtown to fill 83% of the seats, all to watch a team that hasn’t won half its home games in 2017. Another hotspot is a station for Wonderland Ocean Pub, a casual local seafood spot that sits just feet from the Pacific Ocean. The symbol of baseball's westward lurch still holds up quite well.

The craft beer selection is pretty tight, but if you’re not into five-for-$5 fish tacos the food at Petco leaves a lot to be desired -- as does the team on the field. Newer buildings are next to older buildings, bringing a little bit of the past into the present.

No stadium jumped higher in our 2017 rankings than the home of the Yankees, who have returned to relevance and made this place feel a lot less like an overpriced, cavernous ballpark. The result? This retro park might have the most iconic water feature in all of baseball (McCovey Cove in right field), plus some of the best stadium food around -- The Stinking Rose and a Cha Cha bowl are both inside.

It's the perfect marriage of classical design and modern amenities.
Baltimore OriolesBaltimore, Maryland Inside access. The view of the San Gabriel mountains is portrait-worthy, the Dodger Dog is an edible institution, and the "THINK BLUE" sign is neat in an Orwellian sort of way.

No doubt that's also because of delicious grub from locals spots like Murray’s Steakhouse. St. Louis CardinalsThis open-air park features a view of the city's most iconic landmark. Watching your home squad struggle isn't much fun and can put a damper on a day at the ballpark.
