I really think that anybody who understands and can appreciate what this game is trying to be would enjoy it. Having played a bunch of games in both last and this year's I can say getting and pitching is quite different.I'm getting a lot less hits, more home runs, less strikeouts, harder pitching, different Fielding. It's a great in-between game for those who don't have as much time, but still love baseball and want to enjoy the current season and teams.It's hard to master and I'm confident I'll put 30-50 hours into it this year and I'll enjoy that time. The strategy of developing the games themselves clearly isn't working. Load times, in general, are both plentiful and woeful. The previous game had some negating room since is was fair early in the Switch lifespawn and the game was probably rushed to completion. Start. It's games like this that make me wish Bandai Namco would localize Pro Baseball Famista Evolution for the west. It's an arcade , bare-bones style of baseball which is fine, but don't think your'e getting an equivalent to something like The Show. @zionich Yeah, I hear ya. Menus feel a little sluggish to navigate, cycling teams and uniforms sometimes leads to a delay in players and uniforms appearing. @Krambo42 Just read the reviews. Last year's title was lambasted with negative reviews across the board, and if you’re hoping for better this time around then, unfortunately, we are going to have to let you down gently. Be aware of some major bugs and long load times also; these didn't ruin the experience for me but they will certainly test your patience. Baseball 18 is another disappointing baseball 'simulation' on Switch. The game is factually misrepresented here.
You could buy one used or during a sale. If you’re going in expecting RBI Baseball 18 on the Switch to rival MLB The Show, you’ll be sorely disappointed. If you want a solid baseball experience on the Switch, you could do worse than Super Baseball 2020. Give us something proper, something enjoyable, something gamers have longed for and deserve. Player visuals are also poor and ill-defined. A number of people are calling out in the comments that this game is a fun arcade like baseball that had a touch of Sim feel. They should probably put this series to bed. @LinktotheFuture I've only played that mode a couple of times, so I don't remember, but I don't think so. Give us some real baseball games again, or better yet something fun and arcadey. I would recommend this to a friend.

I HAVE NOT PLAYED 18 YET, BUT THIS IS AN ARCADE BASEBALL GAME, NOT LIKE THE 2K SERIES WHICH IS GONE. It's fun on the go, which plays to the switch's strengths.
